Julio Cordano is a career diplomat from Chile. Since 2012 he serves as the Head of the Department of Climate Change and Sustainable Development of the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For 2019/2020, he has assumed the role of Negotiations Coordinator for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change for Chile’s COP 25 Presidency. His studies include a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Chile and a master's degree in public policy from the Victoria University of Wellington.
