This policy clarifies the use of cookies on mission-neptune.com and its subdomains. It supplements the privacy policy (Article 3.5).
Cookies used
The mission-neptune.com website (and in particular its save-the-date.mission-neptune.com landing page) uses only cookies strictly necessary for its operation (for example, retention of language choice or status of the consent banner), which are exempt from consent within the meaning of article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.
Audience measurement (Matomo)
We use Matomo Analytics (hosted by InnoCraft on Matomo Cloud infrastructure, EU) to measure site audience. The configuration is compliant with the consent exemption provided by the CNIL's audience-measurement guidelines: no tracking cookie is set, IP addresses are anonymised before processing, data is not cross-referenced with other processing nor shared with third parties, and the browser's "Do Not Track" signal is honoured.
You can opt out of this measurement by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser. For any further request, contact the DPO at dpo@wmhproject.fr.
Experience analytics (Microsoft Clarity)
We use Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd) to understand how visitors interact with the site (heatmaps, anonymised session replay). Clarity is configured without a consent signal: for visitors in the European Economic Area it runs in cookieless mode and stores no tracker on your device. The data collected is pseudonymised and is not cross-referenced with other processing.
Third-party cookies
If non-exempt third-party or audience-measurement cookies were to be added, a consent banner compliant with CNIL recommendations would be displayed and the user's prior consent obtained.
Your rights
You may at any time configure your browser to refuse all or some cookies. Refusing strictly necessary cookies may prevent certain features of the website from working.
To exercise your rights relating to your personal data, contact WMH Project's DPO at dpo@wmhproject.fr (see Privacy policy, Article 5).
