Éléonore Caroit has been French Minister Delegate for Francophonie, International Partnerships and French Nationals Abroad, under the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, since October 2025. A graduate of Sciences Po Paris (2008) and holder of a Master of Laws from Columbia Law School (2010), she is a member of the Bars of Paris, New York and Geneva.
She began her career as a legal adviser at Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier before practising as a lawyer at the firms Weil Gotshal and Manges, Castaldi Mourre & Partners and then Lalive, where she specialised in international arbitration. In 2021, she became a partner at MGC Arbitration, a role she ceased in 2022.
Committed to representing French nationals living abroad, she served as a councillor on the Assembly of French Citizens Abroad until 2022 and has been a Member of Parliament representing French nationals established outside France for the 2nd constituency since 2022. She has been Vice-Chair of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee since 2023 and also sits on the Board of Directors of the Agence française de développement.
