Bachir Tamer has been a Professor at the Collège Royal since 1976.

A higher education professor at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, he holds the UNESCO Chair on Literacy and Adult Education (Mohammed V University, Rabat). He is a member of several research and reflection teams in the fields of literacy and didactics, and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Attadriss.
